September 19_____
Bobbie,
A long time ago, on two separate occasions, I took the liberty of photographing you as we conversed on things mundane and jovial.
At the time, you had wanted me to hand them over immediately. Due to the everyday tomfoolery, that I witness around me and am very much a part of, your request vanished into the recesses of the mind and stayed there. I had placed the two photographs in a favourite book of mine and only came upon them yesterday as I sat down to reread said book. I immediately remembered your request and am now sending them to you by letter.
Shash.

Shash,
You Goof! I am returning these photographs to you.
Bertie will worry should he see me in a contemplative mood. He may pester you to tell him the exact cause I appeared to be in a mood. More importantly, I might worry that I ever sat down to think.
Truth be told, no one else has ever taken such photographs of me. You did. So, they are yours to keep. Keep them. Someday, you can use them to perhaps start a fight. Or to write poetry. Or to simply remember me.
Also, the next time you write me a letter when we are in the same city, I shall come over to your apartment and play a trumpet, badly.
Bertie is asking if we can visit the Kit Kat Club. It would appear that Bingo Little, Rosie, Young Tuppy and the gorgeous Angela are planning a little get-together.
Take the taxi. Now.
Bobbie.

Bobbie,
That was quite the evening.
I had asked Pongo to take this picture. For a fiver, he was willing to oblige. He agreed to do it for free once I explained to him that I would inform Constable Oates that it was Pongo himself who had pinched the Constable’s helmet.
You will like this one. Bertie will be pleased to have it somewhere on a bookshelf or on his reading table that he never uses.
Shash.
